Dear Friends,
As we reach Day 8 of the “40 Days to Save America” campaign, we are reminded of the vital importance of standing firm in our faith, especially during times of uncertainty and spiritual challenge. Ephesians 6:13 urges us to "take up the whole armor of God," so that we may withstand the battles of our time. This call to spiritual resilience is more important than ever, as we face challenges both as individuals and as a nation.
We invite you to join us in a time of prayer and fasting. Today, we encourage you to trust that God is our ultimate source of strength and guidance. Let us be united in our mission to intercede for America, seeking His divine will and believing in His power to guide and restore our nation.

Unveiling the Prophetic Mysteries of the Fall Feasts: God's Divine Plan for the Future
In today’s feature, we are honored to share a special contribution from The Return Co-Founder Kevin Jessip. In this insightful article, Jessip delves into the prophetic significance of the Fall Feasts—beginning with the Feast of Trumpets, continuing through the Day of Atonement, and culminating in the Feast of Tabernacles. These sacred observances are more than just traditional celebrations; they hold profound hidden messages that foreshadow future events, including the gathering of the saints, the return of Christ, and the establishment of God's Kingdom on earth.
Future Events Concealed in the Fall Feasts: A Prophetic Insight into God’s Timetable
The Feast of Trumpets (Leviticus 23:23-25)
The first of the three final feasts, called Yom Teruah, or the Feast of Trumpets, is the fifth feast in order and occurs in the fall season on the first day of Tishri, normally September or early October. It is identified with the Jewish New Year, called Rosh Hashanah, meaning "the head of the year." On Rosh Hashanah there are over a hundred trumpet blasts that occur throughout the entire day. In ancient times, this feast could not begin until two credible witnesses spotted a small silver sliver of the moon at night. Thus, the Feast of Trumpets had a two-day, forty-eight hour "window," and no one knew the exact day or hour when the shofar (trumpet) would sound to announce this feast. Some suggest that this may be what Christ alluded to when he spoke of His second coming, saying, "But of that day and hour knoweth no man" (Matt. 24:36). This would be a reference to the Feast of Trumpets, indicating that no one knows the exact time the blowing of the trumpet will begin.
Since the "trump of God" will be heard at the gathering together of the saints (1Thess. 4:16), the Feast of Trumpets, which follows Pentecost by four months, is a perfect picture of the Messiah's return and the great shofar blast that will raise the dead in Christ (see 1 Cor. 15:52).
GATHERING TOGETHER OF THE SAINTS ON THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS
The Feast of Trumpets begins on the first day of the seventh month. Among the Jewish people, the Feast of Trumpets is given numerous titles and names. It is also known as: The Day of the Awakening Blast alludes to the great trumpet blasts at the resurrection of the dead. On the Day of Judgment, once the saints have been gathered together, the wrath of God and Tribulation begins. With the Feast of Trumpets identified as the Day of Remembrance, the "book of remembrance" is opened in heaven and the Lord makes up His jewels and protects them from tribulation as a father protects his son (see Mal. 3:16-17). The Coronation of the King alludes to Christ moving from the position of a high priest in the heavenly temple to the coming King of kings (see Rev. 19:16).
The Day of Atonement (Leviticus 23:26-32)
On the tenth of Tishri, the Day of Atonement arrives. This appointed season is called Yom Kippur and was established as a day set aside each year for fasting, afflicting the soul, and seeking God's forgiveness for sins. It focuses on the righteous and the wicked. According to Jewish belief, three books used in the Heavenly Court are opened on Rosh Hashanah and sealed on the Day of Atonement: the book of the righteous (the tzadikim) who are sealed with the seal of God (see Rev. 7:3); the book of the unrighteous (the resha' im) with the names of sinners inscribed (see Rev. 17:8 for comparison [Rev 17:8 describes a book where sinners' names are missing]); and the book of the intermediate or average (the benonim), people neither completely wicked nor completely righteous who must decide who they will serve. There are ten days between Rosh Hashanah and the Day of Atonement in which the unrighteous and undecided must choose to repent and turn to the Lord. This imagery tells of the coming Great Tribulation, when the righteous will escape the wrath to come (see Luke 21:36), the unrighteous will be judged (see Rev. 16:1-6), and those "in between" must choose or reject the mark of the beast system (see Rev. 14:9-11; 20:4).
Because atonement is a time of judgment and the Tribulation is the time of God's wrath and judgment, then the Day of Atonement speaks of the future time of tribulation.
The Feast of Tabernacles (Leviticus 23:33-43)
The final and seventh feast, Tabernacles, began on Tishri the fifteenth and continued for seven days from the fifteenth to the twenty-first day. Today, this is the only feast celebrated by both Jews and Gentiles. The Feast of Tabernacles was a joyous celebration, especially in the days of the Second Temple. This feast is a preview of the coming Kingdom of the Messiah on earth and the reign of the King of kings in Jerusalem.
THE HIDDEN MESSAGE IN THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES
The Israelites dwelt in tents during their forty years in the wilderness. To commemorate this experience, each year during the Feast of Tabernacles, devout Jewish people build a booth outside of their homes or on the decks of their apartments in Israel and live and eat in those booths during the seven days of this feast. Four types of branches are used to construct the outside dwelling: palm, myrtle, willow, and citron. The booth is also symbolic of the wedding chamber, where a marriage is consummated. These seven days also celebrate the end of the harvest seasons, and on the final day of the feast, the high priest conducted a special ceremony for rain. Seventy bullocks were offered, representing the seventy souls that came out of Jacob (see Exod. 1:5) and the seventy nations.
The Feast of Tabernacles was a joyous seven-day celebration in the time of the temple. A special water celebration took place on the last day. Twenty-four divisions of priests were on duty on this day. The high priest led a joyful procession from the temple through the water gate to the Pool of Shiloah. There, he dipped a golden vase into the pool and filled it with the fresh water; then he returned to the temple with the great throng of people who accompanied him.
For this celebration, willow trees had been pre-cut, some twenty-five feet in length. A group of priests stood in two rows, thirty feet apart, outside of the Eastern Gate into the valley where the high priest was returning, and began swinging the large willow branches in unison. The swishing noise produced the sound of wind. It is interesting to compare this action with the time when the Holy Spirit came like a "mighty rushing wind" in Acts 2:1-4.
A flute player, called the pierced one, began playing the flute, calling for the wind and the water to enter the temple, Two containers (one of silver for the wine and one of gold for the living water) were used, and the wine and water were mingled together. Certain priests encircled the large altar in the outer court of the temple, forming a large canopy over the alter.
During this feast a lulav (consisting of four branches from different trees combined together) was waved. These four branches include:
• A palm branch: representing joy
• A myrtle branch: representing rest
• A willow branch: representing weeping and sorrow
• A citron branch: representing bitterness (it was slightly sour)
These Jewish rituals point toward another meaning found in the New Testament. Christ was attending the Feast of Tabernacles in Jerusalem and was standing near the brass altar as the high priest was pouring out the water and wine on the altar. We read:
"In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, 'If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water! (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)" (John 7:37-39)
As the priest was pouring the "living water" at the altar and praying for rain in the coming months, Christ stood and announced that the living water was actually the Holy Spirit that would flow from the innermost being (belly) of the believer. There was an anticipation that when the Messiah arrived and set up His Kingdom, He would also pour out the Spirit of God throughout the entire world (see Joel 2:28-29). Christ's prediction came on the very day of the water libation service at the temple. In Acts 2, when the wind, fire, and power of the Holy Spirit filled the house, baptizing the believers, the temple area was the scene, as there were numerous gathering rooms in the temple compound. A multitude were present when the Holy Spirit was poured out and there were the first three thousand converts to the Messiah after His ascension!
The Additional Eight Day
In John 7:37, Christ was attending the Feasts of Tabernacles on the last day of the feast, which is the seventh day of the water libation ceremony. He went out to the Mount of Olives, and early in the morning He came into the temple (see John 8:1-2) on the eighth day—a day added to the Feast of Tabernacles called the "Rejoicing in the Torah." In this setting, a woman "taken in adultery" was brought to Christ. This was a test for Christ as the Pharisees reminded Him that the woman should be stoned. Christ began writing in the dirt and said, "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." As Christ continued writing in the dirt, eventually the accusers scattered, and He was left alone with the guilty woman. Christ forgave the woman and commanded her to go and "sin no more" (see John 8:3-11).
The image of Christ writing in the dirt at the temple alludes to a priestly procedure called the "trial of bitter waters" (see Num. 5:16-26). A jealous husband who believed his wife was sexually unfaithful would bring her to the priest, who would write the curses in a book and blot them out with water. Then the priest would take dust from the floor, mix it with the inky water, pour it in an earthen vessel, and make the woman drink it. If she were guilty, her belly would swell and her thigh would rot, but if she had been faithful, the bitter water would have no effect (see Num. 5:27-28).
Christ was at the temple in the area where accused women were brought to the priest for the trial of bitter waters. Instead, Christ the "living water" wrote in the dirt and eventually released her from her sins. There has been much speculation as to what Christ wrote in the dirt. Many suggest He wrote the names of her accusers and their secret sins. One of the Scripture passages read on this eighth day seems to shed light on what Christ could have written in the dirt:
"O Lord, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters." (Jer. 7:13)
The fact that Christ extended mercy to a guilty woman is significant since this additional eighth day was a special day for the sealing of mercy.
Today’s Focus: Strength in Faith
On this eighth day, we are reminded that the battles we face are not merely physical but spiritual. Our nation is in a time of testing, and the forces of good and evil are at war. But as believers, we are called to stand firm in the promises of God, knowing that He is faithful.
Here’s how you can engage with today’s theme:
Pray for Spiritual Strength: Ask God for the strength to stand firm in your faith, even when the world seems to be in chaos. Pray that the body of Christ will be equipped to stand against the schemes of the enemy, protected by the armor of God.
Encourage Someone in Their Faith: Reach out to a friend or family member who might be struggling in their faith and encourage them with a scripture or prayer. Remind them that God is their refuge and strength in times of trouble.
Fast for National Revival: Set aside a meal today to fast and seek God for the spiritual revival of our nation. As we humble ourselves before Him, we trust that He will bring healing and restoration to America.

Breaking News: Israel Strikes Hezbollah and Russian Weapons Depot Amid Rising Middle East Tensions
In this urgent update, Pastor Paul Begley reports on the rapidly intensifying conflict between Israel and Hezbollah. As airstrikes continue across Beirut, Israel has destroyed Hezbollah's media headquarters and other strategic positions in southern Lebanon. Israeli ground forces are also moving to push Hezbollah fighters northward to safeguard Israeli civilians.
In a major development, Israel has targeted a Russian weapons depot in Syria, disrupting the flow of advanced weaponry intended for Hezbollah. Pastor Begley delves into the prophetic significance of these events, examining the potential fulfillment of Psalms 83 and the possible approach of the Ezekiel 38 war. As tensions in the Middle East rise, Pastor Begley offers insight into how these developments align with biblical prophecy during this crucial period of the Feast of Trumpets.

Presidential Reflections
Each day we draw inspiration from historical figures who called the nation to prayer and repentance during times of great challenge. For today's Presidential Reflection, you could feature a prayer from President James Madison.
Daily President’s Prayer: President James Madison’ -Proclamation—Proclamation 18—Recommending a Day of Public Humiliation, Fasting, and Prayer - November 16, 1814
By President James Madison, 4th President of the United States: 1809 ‐ 1817
A Proclamation
The two Houses of the National Legislature having by a joint resolution expressed their desire that in the present time of public calamity and war a day may be recommended to be observed by the people of the United States as a day of public humiliation and fasting and of prayer to Almighty God for the safety and welfare of these States, His blessing on their arms, and a speedy restoration of peace, I have deemed it proper by this proclamation to recommend that Thursday, the 12th of January next, be set apart as a day on which all may have an opportunity of voluntarily offering at the same time in their respective religious assemblies their humble adoration to the Great Sovereign of the Universe, of confessing their sins and transgressions, and of strengthening their vows of repentance and amendment. They will be invited by the same solemn occasion to call to mind the distinguished favors conferred on the American people in the general health which has been enjoyed, in the abundant fruits of the season, in the progress of the arts instrumental to their comfort, their prosperity, and their security, and in the victories which have so powerfully contributed to the defense and protection of our country, a devout thankfulness for all which ought to be mingled with their supplications to the Beneficent Parent of the Human Race that He would be graciously pleased to pardon all their offenses against Him; to support and animate them in the discharge of their respective duties; to continue to them the precious advantages flowing from political institutions so auspicious to their safety against dangers from abroad, to their tranquillity at home, and to their liberties, civil and religious; and that He would in a special manner preside over the nation in its public councils and constituted authorities, giving wisdom to its measures and success to its arms in maintaining its rights and in overcoming all hostile designs and attempts against it; and, finally, that by inspiring the enemy with dispositions favorable to a just and reasonable peace its blessings may be speedily and happily restored.
Given at the city of Washington, the 16th day of November, 1814, and of the Independence of the United States the thirty-eighth.
JAMES MADISON.
