Special Feature #1: Church, Unite and Vote for the Soul of America: Pastor Gary Hamrick's Urgent Call to Be Salt, Light, and Preserve Biblical Values
📺 Watch: Why Christians Must Vote: Trump vs Kamala | Pastor Gary Hamrick’s Message on Saving America's Future
As we continue to hear from courageous pastors about the vital role of Christians in shaping the future of our nation, Pastor Gary Hamrick's sermon resonates powerfully in this critical time. His message is a clarion call for the church to step up and engage in the fight for America’s soul. It’s a message that strongly parallels the urgency of what I address in my #1 bestseller The Trump Code (Charisma House/FrontLine, September 17, 2024; the Audible version was just released October 8). Pastor Hamrick and I share the same conviction: now more than ever, believers must stand up, vote, and be the ambassadors Christ has called us to be.
Voting as a Moral Obligation
Hamrick leaves no room for passivity. He stresses that staying politically engaged is not just a right, but a duty for every Christian. Our silence only allows evil to gain a foothold in society. We cannot sit idly by while the forces of darkness push their agendas. As Pastor Hamrick powerfully declared: "Until Jesus comes, get out there, vote, be His ambassadors, be salt and light in this world."
This emphasis aligns with the call in The Trump Code to engage in spiritual and civic action. Voting is one way we reflect our biblical values and preserve the soul of this nation. I believe, as Hamrick said, that by voting in line with God’s Word, we advance His kingdom and stem the tide of moral decay in America.
Biblical Foundations for Civic Engagement
Pastor Hamrick skillfully weaves biblical truth into his argument for why Christians must vote, even if there is no "perfect" candidate. He reminds us that throughout history, God has used flawed, sinful people to bring about righteous policies. The question is not whether a candidate is perfect, but whether their policies most closely align with biblical values. As believers, we must choose policies over personalities, as Hamrick highlighted. This same theme reverberates in The Trump Code, where I discuss the importance of choosing leaders who will stand for life, religious freedom, and the preservation of America’s Judeo-Christian foundation.
Responsibility as Ambassadors of Christ
One of the most poignant aspects of Hamrick’s sermon is his reminder that Christians are Christ’s ambassadors in this world. We have a responsibility to promote righteousness in every area of life, including our voting decisions. We are called to advance the kingdom of God through both spiritual and civic engagement, resisting the tide of evil that seeks to corrupt our land. This message couldn’t be timelier for those of us working to uphold America’s destiny as envisioned in The Trump Code. Pastor Hamrick said it well: “Let your voices be heard, let your votes be counted, and let God arise and let His enemies be scattered.”
Historical Context and the Role of Pastors
In reflecting on the historical role of election sermons in America, Hamrick reminds us that pastors have always played a crucial role in guiding their congregations on how to apply biblical principles to political matters. He highlights how pastors like those of the American founding era were not afraid to speak about the issues of the day through the lens of Scripture. This is the kind of bold leadership we need today—leaders unafraid to declare biblical truth, even when it touches on political issues. This courage is precisely what The Trump Code seeks to inspire—a resurgence of fearless Christian engagement in the public sphere.
Challenges Facing the Church Today
As Pastor Hamrick points out, the culture has twisted moral and social issues into political debates, silencing the church with accusations of being “too political.” But he reminds us that these are biblical issues first. From life to marriage, borders to justice, the Bible has spoken on these topics long before they became politicized. As Hamrick declared: “The culture has hijacked the narrative on social and moral issues that the Bible has already addressed...God had a say on all these subjects long before there was even a word ‘political.’”
In The Trump Code, we dive deep into these same issues, arguing that the church must rise above the cultural noise and reclaim its prophetic voice. We are called to be watchmen, like those described in the Book of Ezekiel, sounding the alarm and warning the people of impending danger.
The Core Message
The core of Hamrick’s message, and the reason why it resonates so deeply with the themes of The Trump Code, is this: Christians have a vital role to play in elections, and voting is a crucial tool to influence society for God’s kingdom. Hamrick’s call to vote is not about political allegiance—it’s about advancing God’s righteous standard in the world. Like him, I firmly believe that through our votes, we can help turn the tide, preserve America’s biblical foundations, and keep our nation under God.
We stand at a pivotal moment in history. The decisions we make in this election could determine the course of our nation for generations to come. As Pastor Hamrick so powerfully urged, “Until Jesus comes, vote, be His ambassadors, and stem the tide of evil in our land.”
Let’s heed this call, unite as the body of Christ, and let our voices be heard at the ballot box. Together, we can make a difference for the glory of God and the future of America.

Special Feature #2: Critical Filters for Moments of Decision: A Call to Christians to Vote with Biblical Clarity
📺 Watch Why Christians Should Vote: Trump vs. Kamala | Pastor Andy Wood’s Biblical Guide to Voting Wisely
As we approach another pivotal election season, I find myself reflecting on Pastor Andy Wood’s recent sermon at Saddleback Church, where he passionately called for Christians to apply biblical principles in every area of life, especially in moments of significant decision-making like voting.
In this critical hour, Pastor Wood emphasized how the world is outpacing the church in shaping people's worldview, and he urged believers to realign their decisions with God's truth. With an election just three weeks away, this message resonated with me. Pastor Wood provided five critical filters for how followers of Jesus should approach significant decisions, especially voting, from a biblical worldview. Here’s a breakdown of the essential points he shared:
The Kingdom of God is Our Primary Focus:
Pastor Wood challenged us to remember that, as Christians, our ultimate allegiance is to Jesus and His Kingdom, not to earthly kingdoms or political parties. He pointed out that, while we are called to care about the nation we live in, we must always prioritize advancing the Kingdom of God. Voting is a way to reflect the values of God's Kingdom in our society. The Love of God is Our Central Message:
At the heart of everything we do, including how we vote, should be the love of God. Jesus’ love was both unconditional and truthful. Pastor Wood reminded us that love is not devoid of truth, and we cannot shy away from standing for biblical truths out of fear of offending others. Our actions, including our political engagement, should reflect God’s love and truth. The Word of God is Our Final Authority:
Scripture must be the lens through which we view all issues. Pastor Wood urged us to align our decisions with the Bible, not with cultural trends or media narratives. As Christians, it’s critical that we allow God's Word to shape our voting decisions, rather than being swayed by fear, anger, or societal pressures. The Way of God is Our Ultimate Standard:
As we dive deeper into God's Word, we begin to understand His heart and His ways. Pastor Wood explained that the Bible addresses many current issues, including the value of human life, marriage, gender, justice, and care for the poor. When we know God's ways, it becomes clear how we should vote on policies and candidates that align with His heart. The Glory of God is Our Supreme Motivation:
Finally, Pastor Wood encouraged us to vote with the glory of God in mind. Our motivation in casting our ballots should not be rooted in fear or partisanship but in seeking to honor God in all that we do. As 1 Corinthians 10:31 reminds us, "Whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." This includes how we vote.
As I reflect on Pastor Wood’s message, I’m reminded of the urgency for Christians to stay engaged in the political process. Just like in The Trump Code, where I discuss the importance of understanding prophecy and America’s destiny, we cannot afford to sit out of this crucial election. Our votes, rooted in biblical principles, have the potential to shape the future of our nation.
So, I encourage you, dear friends, to apply these critical filters to your decision-making process. Let us be faithful stewards of the influence God has given us and vote in a way that honors Him, promotes righteousness, and advances His Kingdom on Earth.
Let your voices be heard, your votes be counted, and may God guide us as we seek His will for our nation

Presidential Reflections: Thomas Jefferson’s Letter to the Danbury Baptists
Each day, we draw inspiration from historical figures who called the nation to prayer and repentance during times of great challenge. In today's reflection, we turn to one of our Founding Fathers, President Thomas Jefferson, and his pivotal letter to the Danbury Baptist Association in 1802.
This personal letter offers profound insight into the heart of one of our nation's leaders and his deep commitment to religious liberty. Jefferson’s letter reassures the Danbury Baptists that the First Amendment protects their right to freely exercise their faith, free from government intrusion. It is here that Jefferson uses the now famous phrase "a wall of separation between Church and State." But his intent was not to remove faith from public life or limit its influence on governance. Rather, Jefferson's words were designed to protect the church from the government, ensuring that the freedoms of faith would never be threatened by political powers.
Sadly, over the years, the phrase "separation of church and state" has been misconstrued and misused to push God out of the public square. As we face the great challenges of our day, let us stand firm in our belief that faith must shape our politics, just as it did in Jefferson’s time. Our Founders understood that the moral and spiritual health of the nation depended on the continued presence of God in the public sphere.
I encourage you to read the full letter below, which remains as relevant today as it was over two centuries ago.
By President Thomas Jefferson, 3rd President of the United States: 1801 ‐ 1809
Jefferson's Letter to the Danbury Baptists on Jan. 1. 1802
The Final Letter, as Sent
To messers. Nehemiah Dodge, Ephraim Robbins, & Stephen S. Nelson, a committee of the Danbury Baptist association in the state of Connecticut.
Gentlemen,
The affectionate sentiments of esteem and approbation which you are so good as to express towards me, on behalf of the Danbury Baptist association, give me the highest satisfaction. My duties dictate a faithful and zealous pursuit of the interests of my constituents, & in proportion as they are persuaded of my fidelity to those duties, the discharge of them becomes more and more pleasing.
Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between Man & his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, & not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should "make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof," thus building a wall of separation between Church & State. Adhering to this expression of the supreme will of the nation in behalf of the rights of conscience, I shall see with sincere satisfaction the progress of those sentiments which tend to restore to man all his natural rights, convinced he has no natural right in opposition to his social duties.
I reciprocate your kind prayers for the protection & blessing of the common father and creator of man, and tender you for yourselves & your religious association, assurances of my high respect & esteem.
Th. Jefferson
Jan. 1. 1802.
As we reflect on these words, may we continue to seek God's wisdom and guidance for our nation, and let our faith shine brightly as we engage in the political and cultural battles of our time.
