Battle Ready News Q & A with Troy Anderson on revival, repentance, and standing firm in a time of shaking
Dear Battle Ready News Community,
We are no longer living in a season of warning—we are living in a season of deployment. The prophetic countdown is accelerating. The lines are hardening. And neutrality is no longer an option.
In this Battle Ready News exclusive, bestselling author and investigative journalist Troy Anderson explains why God raises up “designated disrupters” before judgment or revival—and why believers must now move from awareness to action.
“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” — Ephesians 6:11
Designated Disrupters Rising: Faith Under Fire in a Narrowing Hour
The Bible is clear: before God intervenes decisively in history, He exposes deception, disrupts corrupt systems, and calls His people to stand their ground.
This is not a time for retreat. This is a time to hold the line. As wars proliferate, governments falter, and moral confusion spreads, God is stirring hearts in unexpected places—awakening watchmen, reformers, and frontline believers for what lies ahead.
In this Q&A, Troy Anderson outlines the battlefield realities of this prophetic hour as explored in his new book, Designated Disrupter: Trump and Other Unlikely Agents of Revival (Charisma House/FrontLine, January 6, 2026), the #2 “Hot New Release” in “Church & State Religious Studies” on Amazon.
BRN: You use the term “designated disrupter.” What does that mean in a spiritual war context?
Troy Anderson:
A designated disrupter is someone God assigns to interrupt the enemy’s momentum at a critical moment. These are not peacetime leaders—they are wartime instruments.
Throughout Scripture, God raises disrupters before decisive confrontations. Moses confronted Pharaoh. Elijah challenged the prophets of Baal. Jehu dismantled Jezebel’s system. These were not negotiators—they were enforcers of divine realignment.
In our generation, God is again using unexpected leaders—political figures, cultural voices, and frontline believers—to expose corruption, break false narratives, force truth into the open, and inspire revival. Disruption is often the clearest sign that God is moving.
Designated Disrupter: Trump and Other Unlikely Agents of Revival
(Charisma House/FrontLine, coming January 6, 2026) | From Pulitzer Prize–nominated journalist and six-time #1 bestselling author Troy Anderson, Designated Disrupter reveals how God is using the most unlikely people to confront darkness, disrupt corruption, and awaken a generation now breaking out in revival. Written for obedience. Released for awakening. Order now.
BRN: Some Christians struggle with God using flawed or controversial people. How should believers process that?
Troy Anderson:
God has never waited for perfect soldiers—only willing ones.
David was a warrior with flaws. Samson was reckless. Peter failed under pressure. Paul once fought on the wrong side. Yet God used each of them powerfully.
The mistake many believers make is confusing use with approval. God may deploy someone without endorsing everything about them. In war, effectiveness matters more than polish.
The real question is not whether a vessel is perfect—but whether God is advancing His purposes through the disruption.
BRN: You describe America as being in a “Nineveh moment.” Why is that significant right now?
Troy Anderson:
Nineveh teaches us that judgment is not inevitable.
God sent Jonah as a warning. The people repented. Judgment was postponed for over a century. That was God’s mercy.
America now faces a similar moment. We have legalized sin, silenced truth, and trusted systems instead of repentance. Yet God continues to send warnings—and warnings mean time remains.
But Nineveh moments do not last forever. If repentance comes, judgment can be delayed. If pride remains, consequences follow. That is biblical law.
BRN: What signs of awakening tell you this is more than talk—it’s real?
Troy Anderson:
The hunger among young people is unmistakable.
During Baptize America and Baptize California events over the last few years, thousands stepped forward with no hype, no celebrity leaders, no spectacle—just repentance and obedience. Many had no church background.
I’ve also spoken with individuals inside media and entertainment who have quietly come to faith and are now influencing culture from within.
Real awakenings don’t begin with microphones. They begin with surrender.
BRN: Are events like Asbury, The Return, and mass baptisms connected?
Troy Anderson:
Yes. These are coordinated signals, not isolated events.
The Return was a call to national repentance. The Asbury Revival revealed generational hunger. Baptize America showed obedience without performance.
Historically, awakenings start with repentance, spread through humility, and then reshape nations. What we are seeing now feels like the opening phase of something much larger.
BRN: How can everyday believers become “designated disrupters” right now?
Troy Anderson:
Most disrupters will never make headlines—and that’s intentional.
A designated disrupter may be a parent praying over prodigal children, a pastor refusing compromise, a teacher standing firm, or a believer who will not bow to cultural pressure.
God is not looking for platforms. He is looking for obedience. In wartime, every position matters.
BRN: How does your background as a journalist shape how you approach prophecy?
Troy Anderson:
Journalism trained me to recognize patterns, verify facts, and follow evidence wherever it leads. Over time, I’ve seen how geopolitical events and cultural shifts mirror spiritual realities described in Scripture.
In Designated Disrupter, I combine investigative reporting with biblical discernment. This is not speculation—it’s documentation. Prophecy is not meant to entertain; it is meant to prepare God’s people for what is coming.
BRN: What is your final message to Battle Ready readers?
Troy Anderson:
Urgency—and resolve.
We are not civilians in the last days—we are combatants. God is still extending mercy, still calling for repentance, and still raising watchmen to sound the alarm.
Revival and resistance are rising together. The question is whether we will stand. Like David. Like Esther. Like the watchmen before us. We were born for this moment.
