The Gog-Magog War | FrontLine: Battle Ready Network (Episode #8)
By Col. Giammona, Troy Anderson and Pastor Coco Perez
Dear Battle Ready Ministries’ Community,
Urgent: Pray as Hurricane Ian Makes Landfall in Florida
Join us as we ask God to intervene and protect all those in the path of this storm.
The Bible reminds us that “God is our shelter and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble” (Psalm 46:1 GNT).
Would you join us in praying now for God to protect every person who will feel the effects of this storm?
Let’s Pray Together
Dear Almighty God, we ask you to protect our good friends, The Return International Co-Founder Rev. Kevin Jessip and his wife Donna, (insert your friend’s name), and everyone in Florida and in Hurricane Ian’s path. Shelter them under your wings. Lord, like you did in the Bible, we pray that you will calm the storm—cause the winds to die down and the flood waters to be held back. Lord, grant your strength, courage, and resolve to those affected so they can ride out the storm. Protect emergency responders as they selflessly put themselves in harm’s way to help others.
God, may the words in Isaiah 43:2-3 (GNT) provide us with confidence and peace today:
“When you pass through deep waters, I will be with you; your troubles will not overwhelm you. When you pass through fire, you will not be burned; the hard trials that come will not hurt you. For I am the LORD your God, the holy God of Israel, who saves you.”
In Jesus’ Mighty Name we pray together,
I’m sure most of us know at least one friend or family member living in Florida or in other areas that will be affected by the hurricane. If you know anyone in its path, reach out to them! Call them now, or send them an encouraging text message. There is so much comfort in knowing that someone is thinking of you and praying for you in the midst of a scary situation. This simple act can be a wonderful way to show God’s love and support for others, even from far away.
Here are a few encouraging Bible verses to share with others:
Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your feet from being snared. (Proverbs 3:25-26).
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea. (Psalm 46:1-2)
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.” (Psalm 91:2)
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. (Isaiah 43:2)
The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him. (Nahum 1:7)
